his needs and ministry.

a. Organize a pastor’s day to visit and bless him with gifts.
b. Help with other needs, clothing for the pastor and his wife, bicycle,
motor cycle, car etc. for the pastor or transport money to attend pastors’
meetings.
3. Respect the pastor. He is the spiritual leader of the church and MF is under
his guidance.

Begin early to plan your meetings.
1. The local MF committee should work together on these plans.
2. Plan time for fellowship. Ministry, study, prayer and handwork. Decide how
much time will be needed for each part of the meeting. Careful planning and
following a schedule will keep you from wasting time with unnecessary
works or activities.

3. Ask special speakers far enough in advance so they will be free to come and
can be well prepared .Announce special meetings in advance.
4. Plan how to begin and end the meeting. Have a goal in mind.
What do you want to see accomplished in the lives of the MF members
?Make notes of announcements to give and choruses to sing.

Be prompt in beginning and closing the meeting
This is important in towns where men work outside the homes. They do not
have a lot of time to waste in waiting for others to come to MF .They will stop
coming. As a leader, be on time .start if you have only two men, There.
Try to make meetings different and interesting .This is not an ordinally
church service ,it should be different .Don’t sing the same songs each time or do
the same things.
1. Begin with one or two fast lively songs or choruses. They bring joy into a
meeting .learn new choruses sometimes.
2. Inviting a special speaker :After consulting with the pastor ,the MF leader
may invite special speakers who may speak on areas of their specialization
,these may include a social worker, a medical doctor etc.
3. Invite your pastor ,missionary district leader etc. to share a special
experience in their lives. Tell them how much time you are giving them to
speak, then turn the meeting to them soon enough so that they can finish on
time.
4. Start a plan for each one to memorize the books of the bible and scriptures
that will help them in their daily lives. Let some recite scriptures they have

learned and tell how they have been helped by the word in the previous
week.
5. Find new ways to review the five objectives of MF -in drama or testimonies
from some who have fulfilled one of the objectives. Find ways to fulfill
them as a group.
6. Instead of preaching ,try using a bible study course or Christian study book.
Study one of the books in the Bible or certain subjects such as men of the
bible etc. Discuss together the things you learn instead of having one person
do all the talking .Try a bible quiz on bible tenets sometimes.
7. Members can sometime be invited to one of the homes instead of the church
for a meeting. At such times the host can invite the neighbors in. Tell the
MF members to be sure to testify of victory and answers to prayer and to be
friendly to the visitors .This is good way to win men for Christ. This is not
the time to discuss church problems.
8. When possible place chairs or benches in a circle instead of the usual way .A
circle brings more unity and a spirit of friendship especially in a small
group.
9. Have a time for tea sometimes before or after meeting .Make MF a happy
time as well as one of blessings. The tea should be ready when the men
arrive only 15 to 20 minutes should be taken for this.

many needs which MF can help in the local church with the remaining money.
Some may buy pews, others may buy an altar, chairs, the pulpit, help a Bible
school student and so forth.
Special National Needs
Sometimes a special national need may be presented to the MF and all groups
can work together on the same project. Funds can be raised for a project in the
